PR1, Abbey Road
GLi, a joint venture between Patrizia and KSP, has a mission to develop a portfolio of next-generation logistics warehouses within the M25 – sustainable, easy to lease and highly efficient to operate.
Their vision is to regenerate vital industrial areas serving the London population and to create the best buildings in the best possible locations. With this as the ultimate goal, GLi turned to Faircloth Construction to help develop the Park Royal site in historic Abbey Road in north west London to meet increasing market demand for last-mile logistics space within the M25. As with all GLi properties, the new 61,611 sq ft logistics warehouse will be highly energy efficient and redeveloped on a net zero carbon basis with sustainability as a key priority: it will be 100% electric powered, and offer fully equipped car and delivery van EV charging points. Responding to market demand for environmentally-responsible real estate and to save on occupier energy costs, it will also offer battery storage, biodiverse landscaping, and rainwater harvesting.
