HEALTH, SAFETY & WELLBEING
Faircloth Construction believes the mental health and wellbeing of our staff is a key aspect of, and cannot be separated from, our success and sustainability as a business. Our ultimate goal is to build and maintain a workplace environment and culture that supports optimum mental health and wellbeing.
Mental Health Matters
We actively seek to establish, promote and maintain the mental health of our employees through our workplace practices, and we encourage our employees to take responsibility for their own mental health and wellbeing. All our employees are encouraged to support the wellbeing and mental health of their colleagues and to provide a supportive environment for everyone with whom we come into contact during the course of our business.
Our focus on wellbeing
Wherever possible we work to reduce the stigma around depression and anxiety in the workplace and we look to facilitate the active participation in a range of initiatives that support mental health and wellbeing. We actively work to foster workplace environments that prevent discrimination in all its forms and to raise awareness and build more knowledge of mental health and wellbeing issues and behaviours.
OUR COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION
Minimising resource consumption and our environmental impact
We are committed to sustainable construction and use industry-leading technologies, resources and building practices. We always seek to minimise the impact we have on the environment on every project.
Promoting environmentally-responsible design and operations
Our project teams leverage decades of experience and are constantly looking for ways to develop our experience, technology and innovative thinking to advance our environmentally-focused goals.
Driving a culture of change througout the built environment
We actively seek to work with partners who share our commitment to use sustainable building practices and we advocate the use of sustainable practices whenever working with third parties.
OUR CARBON NET-ZERO PLEDGE
At Faircloth Construction, we are steadfastly committed to environmental responsibility and sustainability. Recognising the pressing need to address climate change, we are working to achieve net-zero carbon emissions.
Wherever possible we will implement innovative construction practices, prioritise energy-efficient technologies and invest in renewable energy sources. Our commitment extends to reducing waste, promoting circular economy principles, and enhancing biodiversity in our projects.
We will collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and employees to foster a culture of sustainability. Regular monitoring and continuous improvement will be integral to our journey. By taking this bold step towards net-zero emissions, we aim to contribute to a greener and more resilient future for generations to come.
