Cartersfield Road, Waltham Abbey

A development of 4 high specification industrial units ranging from 5,877 sq ft to 22,102 sq ft. Each unit comprises a shell and core envelope with stair core access to a mezzanine level.

The scheme involved the demolition of existing 1970s brick built industrial units following with the construction of four new lightweight framed industrial units split into 2 parts either side of an access road.

The new, modern buildings comprise of a shell and core envelope with a mezzanine floor, a ground floor customer entrance with a reception area, and staff facilities. Additionally, a double height roller shutter for vehicular entrance was integrated into the units.

The design of the buildings targeted BREEAM Very Good, EPC A+ rating, Net Zero Carbon, and Secured by Design certification and also include PV elements.
